At the end of summer, I took my kids for their pre-school physicals. I wasn’t planning on getting their flu shots yet because we usually wait until September or October but our doctor’s office had just gotten them in. I convinced the kids that we would get our shots that day and we did. One of my kids was not happy at the unexpected vaccine after I told them they were not getting any shots that day but afterwards, understood that it was for their health.Â
Troy and I got our vaccines as well at CVS. I love making our appointment online and going to the pharmacy area to get it. This was our best year yet and we were in and out in 5 minutes flat. I love knowing that we are better protected from the flu.

Why We Get Our Flu Shots
To be totally honest, we get our flu shots because there is nothing worse than feeling sick. As a family of 5, there is always a pretty good chance that someone is not feeling their best and we try to reduce that as much as possible. If the flu shot lowers our risk of illness, I am certainly signing my family up! As you can see in these photos, we love to get out and have fun so we get our flu shots so we can keep living our best lives!Â
