Woman Arrested for Murder in South Seattle

Seattle police arrested a woman for murder in South Seattle Tuesday night. 

On November 5th, at 8:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of someone breaking glass at a nearby residence in the 9200 block of Spear Place South.

Officers located a 33-year-old woman responsible for the property damage. She was seen by the Seattle Fire Department and transported to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) for evaluation.

While investigating, police discovered a deceased 67-year-old male inside the residence with clear signs of trauma.

Police arrested the woman when she arrived at HMC. The woman assaulted an officer during the course of the arrest.

The officer and suspect were evaluated and released from the hospital.

Detectives booked the suspect into King County Jail for Murder in the 2nd Degree.

Detectives with the Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Units processed the scene.

The circumstances leading up to the crime are under investigation.
