Zendaya Recreates Iconic Cher Look at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Zendaya can turn back time.
The 28-year-old stunned at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, Oct. 19, when she arrived dressed in a Cher-inspired look.
The barely-there gold cutout dress with lace-up detailing is from designer Bob Mackie’s Fall 2001 Foreign Entry collection. It immediately received comparisons to Cher’s iconic look from 1972 by the same designer.
Zendaya continue her homage to the “Believe” songstress by rocking long sleek black hair which cascaded down her back. Fittingly, the Dune actress was the one to induct the 78-year-old into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the ceremony.
“Thank you, Cher,” Zendaya said during her speech, according to video shared by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Thank you for being an advocate, for being an ally, for paving the way for so many humans of all kinds to live in and speak their truth and to have the courage to be as daring and as open-hearted as you.”
