Louis Vuitton Brings Edible Egg Bag to UK for Easter

Louis Vuitton, the renowned French fashion house, collaborates with pastry chef Maxime Frédéric to unveil an exquisite collection of Easter chocolates. Among the creations is a stunning Easter egg, drawing inspiration from a bag crafted by Nicolas Ghesquière, the artistic director of women’s collections.

The renowned Egg bag from Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2019 collection has been reimagined in chocolate for the first time. It features intricate details such as the signature LV monogram, leather-inspired handles, and realistic zipper pulls.

Crafted with varying chocolate intensities, the Louis Vuitton egg bag features a 70% dark chocolate shell. In contrast, the zipper pulls and handles are moulded from 40% milk chocolate. Unveiling the interior reveals a 40% milk chocolate bar, enriched with a creamy hazelnut gianduja centre.

The edible, limited-edition rendition of the egg bag is being offered for €225.

Alongside the egg bag, the Louis Vuitton Easter collection reimagines the traditional Easter egg, presenting it in three recipes which are two dark chocolate and one milk chocolate, available in three-piece and six-piece selections.

Indulge in Louis Vuitton’s dark chocolate Easter eggs, available with either a raspberry caramel and pistachio praline filling, or a combination of creamy caramel with blue vanilla from Réunion Island and crunchy buckwheat gianduja. For those who prefer milk chocolate, an egg with a creamy caramel centre infused with Tahitian vanilla and hazelnut praline is also offered. These exquisite eggs are available in sets of three for €40, or six for €70.
