We’re beyond sad that Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 is coming to an end. This season gave us so much – Bronwyn Newport’s fashion, Lisa Barlow’s meltdowns, and Britani Bateman’s announcements. While it’s coming to a close, it will never be forgotten. That’s mostly because of all of the ridiculous moments we have to remember it by.
Britani was in the hot seat in the latest RHOSLC episode that’s leading up to the finale. She was caught by the crew recording their argument on a sprinter van in Mexico. All of the wildest RHOSLC stories come from sprinter vans, it’s just a fact. Anyway, the move made the group paranoid, especially Meredith Marks. In fact, Meredith began believing that Britani may have played spy and planted a recording device in her hotel room. Only on RHOSLC…
Britani Bateman thinks Meredith Marks’ claim is a joke
During the RHOSLC After Show, Britani addressed the accusations that she was spying on Meredith on the trip. “I was thinking about it … no! I didn’t bug her room,” Britani joked. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
In fact, Britani thinks that the accusation says a lot more about her RHOSLC co-stars than her character. “I mean, you guys don’t know me yet, really, that well,” she said. “You don’t know my heart. You don’t know my intent. And I think it’s kind of a sadder commentary on the trauma that you guys went through.”
Even Bronwyn admitted on the After Show that the accusation was out of hand. “In the history of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard in my life, this might top everything,” Bronwyn said. “I just can’t picture Britani hiding a listening device.” Maybe it was a little far-fetched, but Meredith’s bugging accusation sure did make for entertaining TV. And it’s beyond fun to imagine Britani sneaking around like a secret agent on a reality TV show.
