The more I think about it, boy, they better have something up their sleeve because this might be the most boring two hours we ever see.
James Kennedy. Vanderpump Rules, formerly of Vanderpump Rules, arrested on domestic violence charges. We found out yesterday, it happened on Tuesday night. Kristen Doughty and Rachel Levis react to it. Selena Gomez got engaged to Benny Blanco. I’m more interested in the engagement setup that he did for her.
And then I’m going to get to that Michael Jackson story, which is just totally bizarre. That I wanted to get to yesterday and I didn’t. And we will get to all that momentarily. All right. Starting out with this a little bit more on the Vegas fan appreciation party next year, May 31st, 2025 at the house of blues at Mandalay Bay.
I’m about, let’s see, let’s see. That’d be a third, about 25 percent filled already. So far with the responses, we got people from all over Sacramento, Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Phoenix, Seattle, Washington state, of course, some Vegas locals. I know more are coming. I’ve got a couple more that I need to throw in there.
The people that emailed me late tonight that I have to get back to, but. It is first come first serve. If you want in, just email me. Let me know. Your confirmation into the party does not cost you anything. Your confirmation into the party is your flight itinerary, your hotel itinerary, or if you’re Vegas local, just promise me you’re not going to cancel on me.
And then the other thing is When you do email me and let me know that you are coming and you send over some sort of, you know, flight itinerary or whatever, or even if you’re local or hotel confirmation, just let me know everybody’s name in the party that is coming. And also let me know what city you’re coming from, because I just want to keep track of where everybody’s coming from.
That’s why I was able to, you know, reel off, you know, some of the ones that have already RSVP’d as I said, St. Louis, Seattle, Chicago, Sacramento, Atlanta. Washington state, Phoenix, Denver. So yeah, there’s a good, and that’s the way it usually is. Honestly, last year, I believe we had a hundred people that came to the party and only 25 were locals.
I mean, it was from all over. So just wanted to throw that out there and just let people know. Obviously it is first come first serve. I have more space this year. I don’t think I’m going to sell out in the next. Two weeks or anything like that, but better to get in early than to, you know, worry about getting in later.
So just wanted to mention that. All right, let’s get to some of the stories that I mentioned in the open. I first want to talk a little bit more about survivor with part one happening and Andy going home and Genevieve going home. And you’re like, okay, but they were two of the better players. That doesn’t mean that the really good players always last till the end.
But for me now, With a two hour finale next week, part two. And we know that at least the last hour or 45 minutes is going to be because they don’t do a live finale anymore. They film the finale out there during filming. So these people have all known for months who wins. I don’t know if it’s gotten out anywhere, but I don’t even know if we need spoilers for this season of survivor, because right now you’ve got a final four of Rachel, Sue, teeny and Sam.
Okay. Well, I’m sorry, but Sue and Teenie have absolutely 0 percent chance of winning this game unless, well, I was going to say unless they are the final two, but Jeff Probst said on his podcast yesterday, no, it’s not going to be a final two this year. We’re still keeping the final three. So if Sue or Teenie or both of them are somehow part of the final three, they’re both getting zero votes and we’re going to have a shutout.
There’s just no way they’re getting a vote. This is between Sam and Rachel. Well, Rachel apparently is the best fire maker. So even at the next immunity challenge where the four of them compete. Even if Rachel loses or doesn’t win, whoever wins, if they take Rachel to final three with them, okay, she’s probably going to win.
And if they, they force her to make fire, she’s going to make her, she’s going to earn her way into the final three and probably win. Unless I’m missing something here and I’ve read enough stuff online, Sam’s played a decent game. He hasn’t been terrible. He’s been a good narrator for the game. But is he beating Rachel?
We know Sue and teeny have no chance to be Rachel. Sam is the only one that maybe has a chance, but I don’t see any way Rachel doesn’t win this game. So it’s almost like it’s a formality of what’s coming next Wednesday. I guess it’s just a matter of does she pitch a shutout because she has done everything asked of her.
She’s played the best game of the four people left. Like I do think Genevieve would have had a chance against her in the finals. And I think Andy. Could have had a chance against her in the finals. I’m not sure how the jury sees Andy, but at least he had something on his resume where he could say, I pulled off the biggest heist of the season with operation Italy.
So I could see, maybe he could have swayed some people on the jury once he told them that. And Genevieve definitely played a really strong game, but man, how is Rachel not winning this thing? And with two people up there, Teenie and Sue, who have zero chance of winning, I give Sam maybe 5 percent unless I’m, unless I’m just blind to something and he blows everybody out of the water with his final tribal answers.
I think that Sam can’t win either, so, this looks to be a very boring finale, and a dominant, dominant win by Rachel, which is always good, but you always kind of want some sort of suspense in the finale, or maybe thinking someone does have a chance, more than one person has a chance to win, this, this seems like Rachel’s has already been wrapped up for her, it really does.
Not great news in the world of Vanderpump Rules, or the old Vanderpump Rules. James Kennedy, we found out, was booked on possible domestic violence charges on Tuesday night. In Burbank, California, police were dispatched and receiving a call about an argument between a man and a woman at a residence. Law enforcement deemed it domestic violence that led to his arrest.
He was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and later posted bail. The charges are still pending. In Burbank, a witness allegedly saw Kennedy arguing with a woman before. before reportedly grabbing her. TMZ first reported the news. The officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries as a result of the reported altercation.
Well, those who have been longtime watchers of Vanderpump Rules
are very well aware of James Kennedy’s very, very problematic past. And now, He’s been sober for two years. He seemingly has cleaned up his act, but it didn’t take long for Kristen Doty to post on her Instagram story, a screenshot of the headline, James Kennedy arrested for domestic violence and her just captioning it with finally, then Rachel Levis, his lawyers spoke out Mark Garagos and Brian Friedman and said, we are aware of James Kennedy’s recent arrests for domestic violence.
This news is, unfortunately, not surprising. Rachel’s revenge porn lawsuit describes in significant detail Mr. Kennedy’s long history of erratic, violent behavior, and substance abuse. So, obviously you hope this is nothing serious, and you hope this didn’t happen, but something clearly did happen, and Maybe it was the result of him.
Maybe he fell off the wagon. You hope, obviously you just want the best out of people and you hope they don’t do this and you don’t, they don’t, you hope they don’t display this type of behavior. He’s had it in his past clearly. And for the last two years, we were thinking. Maybe James has turned the page.
Maybe he’s turned over a new leaf and he’s done good for himself. It seemed like on the show, he was doing a lot better. He was happier with Allie, his girlfriend. We don’t even know who the other woman in is in this dispute. I think most of us assume it’s Allie just because actually on Wednesday night, the very next night, she was at an event all by herself.
Some event that was that she was like a host of or something. She was taking a lot of pictures at, at that event. He wasn’t even at that, but he was at the Tuesday night. He was at with her Tuesday night. And apparently some people are saying he was definitely acting erratic that night. So you hope this guy didn’t fall off the wagon.
Clearly there was some sort of altercation and he was arrested for domestic violence. And, but the officer said there was no visible bruising. So I guess we’re going to find out more as time goes on. Maybe James will speak about it. Maybe Allie will speak about it. If it was Allie, we assume it was just because they’re the ones that live in the home in Burbank.
But yeah, who knows? We don’t have enough information. What I will say though, is it doesn’t look good for James whatsoever. He’s had this in his past and. You just hope that this guy who seemingly had been doing well for the last couple of years from the time he got sober Didn’t fall off the wagon.
