My wife and I moved to Spain in January 2023, and I can easily say that it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
The walkability of Spanish cities, rich culture, abundance of local festivals, unparalleled cost of living, delicious food and wine, fast efficient high-speed train network, and overall quality of life in Spain kicks absolute ass.
But despite all that, I don’t think most people should move to Spain.
And it’s not just because of the potential language barrier, complicated visa process, or expensive tax regime.
The real reason you might not want to move to Spain is simpler than all that.
Living in Spain will ruin everywhere else in the world for you.
That’s how good it is here.
Consider this your final warning; your last chance to take the blue pill.
Because once you experience life in Spain — even for just a few months — there’s no going back.
I want to be crystal clear on this point — if saving money is the only reason you want to move to Spain, do not move here.
