Maine Wasn’t Vacation Land When We Lived There
Good morning, All,
I want you to know that we’re off to Maine this morning for some time off. We were born and brought up in Central Maine about 20-minutes from Bangor.
The slogan on the license plates says, “Vacation Land.” It wasn’t vacation land when we lived here. Both my wife and I were brought up on farms. But we love going back. It feels like home, even though we don’t want to live there.
We’ll be north of Bar Harbor. The plan is to eat all the sea food we want and enjoy some quiet time. The forecast is bright sun for the whole week and there’s no snow. It’s in the mid-70’s!
I think of you as you face challenges.
You have my best,
Dan
